Kamikazee is my favorite local rock band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
My eccentricities can either be awesome or awful for other people.
Some have accepted who I am and they would prefer that I have this “dark” aura while some want me to change and loosen all the weirdness.
Either way, I am just glad that all of them are aware of my unusual habits and tolerate them…
Heeyy, I don’t bite! ☻
When I hear the word “indulge” what comes to my mind are FOOD and VANITY!
I indulge myself with things that would feed me (literally and figuratively speaking) whenever my time and my money permit.
* * * * flooding with self-portraits and lots and lots and LOTS of food!!! * * * *
Every six months or so, I’ll visit the salon and have my hair rebounded. I wished to have a fiery-red hair just like my old wig but I also feared that my boss would kick me out for doing such. December came and so did our beefed-up salary. I really wanted a new look! I disregarded the fear of losing my job and I hurried to Heaven’s Salon (Rizal branch) right after our trip to Mindoro. Haha! It was long and tiring because we spent almost ten hours to get everything done. Since my hair was originally black, dyeing it hot-red turned it auburn-ish instead. I was dissatisfied at first but I learned to love it. I will go back there after three months to have it redone (and hopefully get the result I want)… then the cycle will continue.
My fiancé wore a cross pendant when we first met. Ever since that day, I had been fascinated with cross pendants and I have collected quite a lot in due time. I am not religious, though, so I never bought crucifixes. Crosses are staple accessories for Goths. Most of my necklaces and pendants have either been worn out, given to others or misplaced. I only have the current batch with me now. More details on this blog entry: [My Collection : Pendants . . .]
… and now, the FOOD!!!
Feast thy eyes with photos of luscious dishes and sweet pastries from various restaurants and shops within Metro Manila. For details, please read my [blogs about food and drinks].
I am a fanatic of Rock Music for as long as I can remember and I have already collected so many clothes and accessories that coincide with the party’s theme. I spent so much money on last year’s company party so I promised myself that I would not spend a dime this time around. My colleagues voted that I wear the Harajuku polo which I bought from the last convention. I also used the Kira boots I wore during our closet cosplay. I bought some cosmetics but I’ll be using them for 4 months so it was okay.
It wasn’t truly a makeover but this is one of those few instances when I invest much on my make-up. I grabbed some glam rock photos on the Internet as my basis then I put make-up on myself.
I tried it on a few hours prior to the party. The foundation I bought was too light. I shouldn’t have believed “beauty experts” when they said that a skin-tone lighter than mine should be applied. I looked like a Kiss fanatic! Ugh!
My hair was ironed but the effects didn’t last long. It was okay since it was meant to be generally messy anyway. I had my nails done as well.
We reached the venue and I felt like I was in a club. There were only a few people wearing the right clothes. I, myself, am not following the theme. LoL!
Crossroad 77 was so small and it was HOT — literally speaking. I don’t know how many people were there but I think they squeezed in more than a hundred tables in such a tiny function room. I even *accidentally* kicked someone — and I can still remember her glare, LoL!
The food was not delicious apart from the spaghetti. The waiters, too, were very unaccommodating. I asked them for a glass of water three times and none of them returned. I had to intentionally grab a glass from another waiter passing by.
With the exception of Talata‘s performance, the rest were lame. I only watched Corp’s skit since TL-Voltz, TL-Dustin and some of Service Assurance were there. IT WAS A ROCK-THEMED PARTY yet most of them were no more than sons of plunder!!!
I didn’t stay seated for more than five minutes. I kept roaming around the hall, looking for people I know and hogging photographers.
After the mini-photoshoots, I didn’t find anything appealing anymore. I left the venue shortly after 11PM.
I never thought how much pendants I have until I made this blog!!!
Most of these gorgeous pendants have either been misplaced, stolen, worn out or given to others. Only the current batch remains with me.
LUX IN TENEBRIS – I call it “Light in the Darkness” because the multiple white and gold necklaces look like rays of light. The chains are too thin and they get tangled easily. Nonetheless, it’s pretty. I bought this from BodyKendi (a.k.a. LolitaVirus).
Recently, my colleagues have been giving me tips on how to apply make-up other than my usual foundation, eyeliner and blush-on. I’m getting the hang of it and I am enjoying the smoky eyes. LoL!
As an added Christmas gift for myself, I bought a basic make-up kit.
I’ve trusted Nichido over the years so most of the stuff I bought were from their store. My younger sister told me to try Etude‘s lipgloss because it makes the lips stand out even more (although it’s expensive). I also bought a small bag from Clipper to hold these items.
