9th Anniversary of Philippine Ragnarok Online ! ! !

My little sister and I were very visible since we’re on the front row. ANG SAYAAAA!!!

I thought that we were unfortunate because we failed to acquire premium passes for Cosmania 2012. As it turned out, it was actually a blessing-in-disguise!

The 9th Anniversary of Philippine Ragnarok Online fell on the same date as Cosmania’s. Level Up Games announced that KAMIKAZEE would be performing too so I knew that I SHOULD NOT MISS IT!

I am so glad that I did what my gut told me to do. I did not regret every single second (and cent) I spent on this event!!!

Three Quarters of Doom . . .

This year has been the most difficult because life had been throwing stones at me. Everyday is like Doom’s Day. I am actually surprised that my sanity is intact despite all these.

People tell me that this is my karma for trolling. I, however, don’t think of it that way. Karma happens in another life. Hey, I’m far from dead!

The way I see it: my Yin-Yang was acting up… or maybe some psychotic paranormal being or a retard with super powers became bored and toyed with me.

Who knows?

Weekly Photo Challenge : Possibility

This puppy is only a few weeks old. We don't have a name for it yet.

I am not sure if puppies at this age can already see their surroundings or at least view the silhouette. It often cries when it can't feel anything moving near it.

Tee-hee~ Little puppy is sleepy~ That's the mom's feet on the upper right of the photo. LoL! These are merely snapshots. I'm really not that good taking photos of moving subjects --- like kids and pets --- that's why I used multishots to get decent photos. *sigh*

Wanda is our pet Havanese but she mated with mongrels thus her puppies come with different appearances, temperaments and personalities. Some of her brood are feisty, some are timid, some are playful, some are noisy, some have long coats, some have short coats, some grow into large dogs, some are small, and all of them are ALWAYS HUNGRY!!! ☻

This puppy is one of Wanda’s fourth batch of litter. It’s barely a month old and we don’t have a name for it yet. We don’t know what its appearance and temperament would be a few months from now. I am also unsure if mom would decide to keep it or donate it just like the others. So many possibilities and only time can tell what is in store for this little bundle of joy. ☺

This is my official entry for this week’s photo challenge: [Possibility]

Best of Animé 2011 [Day 2] . . .

I only visit conventions once in a while and I have to have a good reason before doing such.

My original plan was to meetup with a cosplay-buddy to get my commissioned items but since he had personal things to take care of then our meetup was cancelled. Still, I decided to go because I also promised my little sister that I would accompany her in looking for the manga  that she wanted. I also thought that it would be a great opportunity for me to search for Gothic pendants which are very elusive in regular stores.

MOA is a relatively large place and I don’t frequently go there so I get lost easily. It’s a good thing that I know and I had spotted the right people to follow —- the nerds! We followed their lead without them noticing and after a few minutes, we were already in front of SMX. LoL!

I was surprised that the hall was quite empty even though it’s the middle of the day. The first thing that we did was roam around and looked for manga. Unfortunately, there was none. We only found magazines, pirated DVDs and other customized memorabilia. The only booth that had manga was that of Japan Foundation. My little sister decided to stay there while I roam around some more.

The shops that had a wide variety of merchandise truly caught my attention. I bought a nice Harajuku polo from Sugarfree and Blue. I’ll wear it the next time I attend a convention. It was also nice seeing the Gothic and Lolita communities broadening in the country. I also bought a cross pendant and a customized mug.

I didn’t bother taking photos of cosplayers because they didn’t appeal much to me. I did spend time taking photographs of figma and nendroids, though.

Tokyo Café (Late Night Dinner 12) . . .

♥ Mouth-watering Demi Hamburg ♥

Dad’s leaving for Saudi Arabia tomorrow morning so he treated us din-din in our favorite family restaurant – Tokyo Café. Last time I was there was during my birthday celebration and I miss their mouth-watering Demi Hamburg. ☺

It’s a good thing that not too many people were dining tonight so we were able to get good seats as soon as we got there. This is Lola’s and Tita’s first time eating in a fancy restaurant so we had to help them choose what to order and explain their contents. It’s a good thing they enjoyed every bite of those delicious meals. I also got to test macro shots using the OLYMPUS FE-4000 that dad gave me. ☺
