“A year, ten years from now, I'll remember this; not why, only that we were here like this, together.”
It was December of 2011 when my family visited our province. It had been seven years since I last visited. A lot has changed.
These kids in the photo — I don’t really know who they are. I think they’re our relatives, but I’m not 100% sure.
Anyway, they kept following me wherever I went and asked me to take their photo. I didn’t want to be mean so I reluctantly obliged to their requests. I was aiming to take photos of the sunset but they were frequently in the way.
When I saw the photographs, though, I felt that these kids added more meaning to these shots — possibly more than I expected.

Sunset shots can be found everywhere. Your shot here is far more interesting and has a touch of the unexpected. I love the gestures they are making with their hands.
I love a beautiful sunset shot as well. The skies offer so many picturesque moments throughout the day and night. I well understand the desire to capture such beauty. I do it with regularity.
Nicely done!
It’s a wonderful shot. The black siloettes against the colors of the sky and water is perfect. I invite you to visit my interpretation of “Together” here: http://annefreemanimages.wordpress.com/
